Bulky waste drop-off event held in Bakersfield

Have any old furniture or appliances that you need to dispose of? You're in luck! This Saturday, October 28, 2017 Kern County Public Works Department will be hosting a Bulky Waste Collection Event in which residents living in the Metro-Bakersfield area with bulky items can stop by and dispose of them.  There will be three drop-off locations, all open form 8 a.m. to noon. The first drop-off location will be at Meadows Field International Terminal located at 1401 Skyway Dr. (Off Airport Dr. and Skyway Dr.)
