This video shows a very a good day of spotting at Rome Leonardo da Vinci Fiumicino airport. My first impressions of the airport? It does cover a lot of ground, and I haven't been able to use a perfect spot to film yet. But it was alright!

Not very satisfied with the spot because we couldn't clear the fence for the touchdowns, we tried a different spot west of the runway. We got some pretty good skyshots here, but here there are some trees which were annoying sometimes. Later we moved to a very interesting spot situated next to runway 16R. This is on a roofterrace of a small restaurant. It's next to a busy petrolstation and a carwash, causing a lot of background noise. And here to there are some obstructions in the way when filming the planes. There was mostly departing traffic there but sometimes a few landings too. We ended the day at another spot for runway 16L landings. This was a pretty good spot and when the sun peaked through the clouds, the light on the planes was stunning at times! The weather was overal pretty good. Cloudy but at times some sun aswell.

Rome is offcourse the main hub for ITA Airways, which was previously Alitalia. The ITA livery, especially in good light, looks amazing! We caught an A330 and an A350. The A350 happened to be EI-IFF, named Enzo Ferrari and sporting a nice nose decal on the left side only celebrating 100 years of the legendary Formula 1 racetrack of Monza. There are still some Alitalia colours flying around and even an A320 in Aer One livery! There were some other nice movements too! My personal highlights were:
