East Long Beach during the early 90s was a war zone.
Surrounded by Gang Territory no matter where you were.
A full on gang war was taking place in the streets, with many civilians falling victim to the violence.
And growing up right in the middle of it all was Dusty.

While growing up, Dusty never had an interest in joining a gang.
An he has his mother to thank for that.
Fast forward to now, and he is easily one of the most knowledgeable on the subject of the history of LA gangs.
