EPIC 1920 Warner Traction Elevator and Quick Tour of The Biltmore Hotel (Greensboro, NC)

While I wasn't allowed to tour solo, the staff here gave me a quick tour of this beautiful and classy hotel. We get to know some facts about the hotel (and the elevator), and we get to ride in the ICONIC 1920 Warner Elevator, being one of the FIRST electric powered elevators! While I didn't get to operate it that much, it was cool finally seeing it in person. I can tell it's single speed since it has some rough starts and stops, which is my only complaint. But, as far as facts go, it's being preserved and will stay original for the time coming!

A HUGE THANKS to the staff for this quick tour! I am a sucker for antique places like this!
