Gov. Gavin Newsom Confirms Reason San Francisco Officials Are Suddenly 'Cleaning Up This Place'

A couple of days ago our own Amy Curtis wrote about how the streets of San Francisco were suddenly and magically cleaned up just ahead of President Biden's meeting with China's Xi Jinping this week. -- Collin Rugg: The San Francisco homeless population has "miraculously" gone missing as President Biden & Chinese President Xi Jinping are set to meet in the liberal city. "They started clearing the tents earlier this week and there is definitely a lot more police presence," said one resident. The resident also explained that the city appeared to have the capability to do this all along but they refused. "They’ve cleared out the tents that were near the Moscone Center on Howard Street, which tells me the city had the capability to do this all along... We need is a permanent solution." Another resident said: "They are just essentially herding the problem around but offering no long-term solutions." -- "I don’t know if these tents will be in physical view during APEC, but it will be virtually impossible to eliminate all of that." It speaks volumes that San Francisco's leftist "progressives" were fine with the mess they created until they found out the leader of Communist China was going to visit and only then decided they should tidy up. No doubt the Biden White House also didn't want a backdrop of homelessness and drug addiction that Republicans could use in "Bidenomics is a disaster" ads next year. Today the governor of California, Gavin Newsom, who met with Xi in China not long ago, just came right out and said it after being asked about the timing: After San Francisco was magically cleaned up ahead of Xi Jinping's visit, Democrat Gov. Gavin Newsom says: "I know folks say, 'Oh, they're just cleaning up this place because all these fancy leaders are coming into town.' That's true because it's true."

Well, there it is! Newsom didn't seem to mind the mess for his own voters but when his elite pals were going to drop by the clean-up crew got called in. Why does California put up with this man? Not only that but they'll keep voting for the people who will admit out loud that they aren't the priority of Newsom and the state progs. Proves the people running San Francisco are and California are completely aware they’re destroying their state. It’s intentional. Biden and Newsom just don't want to expose their pal Xi Jinping to what they allowed to happen. Democrats admit they hate American citizens. Too bad the meeting wasn't scheduled at the southern border or else we might have actually seem some tight border security for a couple of days.
