Buyer Beware JBC DDE-1C Display Issue Factory New Units 3 Weeks Apart and 1 is Washed Out.

I have given JBC a chance to correct this Among some Other Things. So Far Very Bad Customer Service! No Straight Answers, Will Ignore You when you Press for answers, Sales Rep. Craig Morris Will Make plans for a phone conference and ghost you and not apologize for it. He actually said he is not sorry.

Possible Parts Production Issues? Are the units actually made in the EU? or are they being made in China with Substandard Parts and Marked as Made in the EU?

Right one is prob 1/8th Less bright and looks washed out / worn out it is very noticeable when units are side by side or stacked and not easy on the eyes! No brightness or contrast adjustment in the software. Prob also running a different MCU and LCD driver also.

JBC Sales Rep Craig Morris says I am being nit picky?

These are supposed to be high-end premium $980ea soldering stations you would assume units would have high-end parts, parts consistency, and exceptional quality control. But Bodged Capacitors and Solder Splatter and Displays that are Not Consistent? Ohh Yes!

After Posting this video on 11/13 I spoke with JBC Sales Craig Morris (He was In Germany at @productronica this morning he is going to send me 2 replacement unit's he and an engineer in Spain at the factory will visual inspect them make and sure the displays are matching on Monday the 20th prior to shipment we shall see JBC has had a good track record of meeting their shipping commitments.
