In August 2023, a Fond du Lac County deputy observed a driver with an expired registration and a revoked license due to a prior OWI. The driver attempted to evade the deputy, reaching speeds over 100 mph, ultimately surrendering after a sideswipe incident. Deputies found 33 grams of marijuana in his vehicle, and a records check showed an open case for operating while revoked.
