Middle schoolers conduct neighborhood audit to better community

Students at Northwest Middle School are preparing to make their communities better by conducting a neighborhood audit. Rebekka Brosemer’s 8th-grade students teamed up with the Community Health Council and the University of Kansas for the project. The middle schoolers looked at roads, curbs, sidewalks, and streetlights.
