France Rally Against Anti-Semitism, 3rd Shooting In Canada, South Africa Clashes | Israel-Hamas War
Thousands of marchers joined lawmakers in Paris on November 12 to condemn a surge in anti-semitic incidents in France. More than 180,000 people marched in protest called by the leaders of France's two houses of parliament, as per interior ministry. There has been three-fold increase in the number of antisemitic incidents since October 7, compared to 2022, according to French authorities. A Jewish school in Montreal was hit by gunfire early on November 12, in third such incident in the Canadian city in a week. A prayer for Israel and hostages held in Gaza turned violent after hundreds of pro-Palestinian supporters gate-crashed the event.
