MEP Clare Daly condemns Israeli occupation

In a recent speech, Clare Daly, Member of the European Parliament from Ireland, addressed the plight of Palestinians. She stated: “4.5 million Palestinians live under occupation, with no rights, victims of dehumanisation, checkpoints, settler violence, brutalisation, military courts, and no vote.”

Daly highlighted that Europe recognises Israel as “the only democracy in the Middle East,” while Palestinians continue to face severe oppression and denial of basic human rights.
