In the story today, Jay shares how he used the 80-20 rule to help him buy a new printer frugally. In Jay's history, he utilized a beastly printer - a Canon Pixma Pro9000 Mark II! Sadly, this printer just died... but it did last 13 years. Given how valuable this printer was and how the family needs/wants have evolved, Jay needed to take a well-informed and frugal approach in finding the replacement. This story serves as a great example of how to apply frugality where the cheapest option isn't the most frugal one for you.
