fresh pickles to fill your pantry overflowing with dill pickles

to add to a variety of dishes or just eat

straight out of the jar.

you have meat for the whole year.

Duck Confit is a traditional technique for preserving

poultry and meats such as duck, goose, or pork.

In Classic Confit, the duck is simmered in duck fat

and water for a few hours.

The water will slowly cook off while the fat remains.

Confit is an effective method for preserving meats because the

fat seals off the oxygen that bacteria need to reproduce.
