Join The Evangelist and The Beard as we continue our discussion about Demonology, expanding to include the occult in this episode. We know from the Gospels that demons are real and are roaming across the earth looking for whom they can possess. But we also know from the Gospels that Followers of Christ have been given the Power through the Holy Spirit to cast those demons out. In this episode of our Podcast, we will conclude our look at what that looks like and how we can both know when someone is possessed by a demon as opposed to someone who is mentally ill. And there is a difference. We will learn what is involved in casting a demon out and what happens when we do. James grew up in severe poverty, suffered every kind of abuse, was abandoned and rejected, orphaned. Suffered from severe mental illnesses as well as alcoholism that he refused to seek help for until he was fifty years old. And has now been in therapy for six years. In spite of all those challenges and roadblocks, James earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Informational Science and a Master of Business Administration Degree with High Honors. He had a long career as a business executive reaching the level of Chief Financial Officer. James is a Published Author with a Biblical Study Guide on Discipleship and a Historical Biblical Fiction Novel both available through Amazon, and is currently working on writing his Memoir, Who Am I?

James went through Ministry Training and Internships with both the Church of God (Cleveland, TN) and the Assemblies of God. He has been a Youth Pastor, Assistant Pastor, Evangelism Pastor, Church Planter, and Senior Pastor. And is now an Evangelist committed to Outreach and Youth Outreach with the Ministry he began with his partner, The Beard Brian Penrod, based in Fort Wayne, IN but with a vision to ultimately travel the United States as the Holy Spirit leads holding Outreaches that both help those who are in need and speak of the Love of God in struggling neighborhoods where traditional churches are either not reaching or do not want to reach.

The Beard Brian Penrod was raised in a Christian home and attended church regularly throughout his childhood and beyond. When in high school, he fell away from the church, feeling that it was not meeting his Spiritual wants and needs. During this time, Brian started to dabble in the occult. The deeper he went, the more he felt that he had passed the point of no return. God could never love him and Brian could never be saved. If it were not for his best friend at the time (who is not a Methodist Pastor) who prayed daily for Brian’s deliverance, only God knows what may have become of Brian’s life. After leaving the occult, Brian felt a calling to warn others about the dangers of Satan and his false teachings. Brian soon began taking classes in Demonology and Angelology at a local Christian College, as well as, continuing independent study in the areas of Demonology and the occult.
