With no end in sight, the Israel-Hamas war entered day 37 on November 12. Israeli forces continue to target Hamas terrorists, killing its top commanders. Israeli forces have entered the ‘heart of Gaza’ and targeted major hideouts of the terrorist group. Escalating its operation, Israel’s military is initiating the next phase of its war, targeting its labyrinth of tunnels, reported Reuters. IDF will target command structures in northern Gaza in an operation that may take months to complete, said security sources. Israeli security sources told Reuters that disabling vast tunnel network would be a fundamental part of next phase of escalation. Israeli forces have pounded Gaza from the air and used ground troops to divide the coastal enclave into two. The retaliation came after an offensive launched after Hamas gunmen killed 1,200 people on Oct 7. Till now, over 9,000 casualties have been reported in Palestine leaving, thousands wounded.
