The Israeli military has announced that its fighter jets carried out strikes against “terror infrastructure” inside Syria. The Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) said “infants at Al-Quds Hospital are facing dehydration due to a shortage of breast milk alternatives”. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu denounced the French President’s criticism of Israel. Macron had said there was “no justification” for Israel’s bombing of “these babies, these ladies, these old people” in the war against Hamas. Ireland’s parliament is set to vote next week on the expulsion of the Israeli ambassador. Meanwhile, Australia’s Foreign Minister Penny Wong has called on Israel to cease its attacks on hospitals.
