Testing "The Green Machine": How to get a wrong reading on an ozone analyzer

In this video Marius and I are showing how, through a simple trick or mishandling, the ozone analyzer can show a wrong and much lower reading of the ozone concentration than what an ozone generator really produces. If the ozone analyzer shows let’s say a concentration of 20mcg/ml and if you press “reset” at that moment, it will take those 20 mcg/ml as a new zero level. So all future readings will show a discrepancy of 20 mcg/ml. Once pure oxygen goes through (so an ozone concentration of 0 mcg/ml), the analyzer reading will go into negative ozone concentrations, as shown in the video. Which is the proof that the analyzer has been reset, because a machine cannot produce negative ozone concentrations.

This is one possible explanation how the rumors that the Herrmann ozone generators are not accurate, started. People who performed tests either erroneously or intentionally mishandled the ozone analyzer and got a wrong reading.
