The first batch sold out quickly and there were mixed feelings about it..not for me personally...but others in forums and groups. I think your still hard-pressed to find a better RTR solid axle monster truck out there, and these become incredibly durable if you want to upgrade them like many of us do with any of our solid axle trucks. That said, Losi listened and developed an axle case with added stiffness and strength. They are much stronger, but remember that in the end...they are still plastic and the will break if you send it, land weird or crash into things at speed.

They've also updated the stickers so they black levels are better than on the previous version.
