Pass me the water! The turkeys have been devoured, the cranberry sauce dishes licked clean and the gluten free pumpkin pies are now just a memory. Somewhere in between the holiday feasts we may have told ourselves we were "gonna try to work out" but got caught up in the season finale of dancing with the stars.

So what now? Another month of food, parties and more food? Well my WF amigos, it doesn't have to be that way.

Carpe diem! This very well could be the time of year where you plan to make the biggest and best gains, or losses, for the new year. This year is sure to bring you an abundance of health; providing you take care of some basics. When it comes to winter health, one thing is for certain- getting sick can derail your vacation, travel and holiday plans instantly.
