Belief And Faith - EP8

Welcome back to Foundations In CHRIST. Let’s discuss Belief and Faith today.
There are many people that profess they believe in a god.

So is that all that’s required to delivers us? To Save us? First I would like to ask, if you would like to learn more about the specifics of how we are delivered , please go back and watch episode 3 and 4. There is detailed explanation of what scripture says about redemption in CHRIST.

For now what I would like to talk about is, what is the difference in just believing and having faith in our belief.

So when we say we believe in god, the first question should be, “Which god do we believe in?” Can you answer who the god is that you believe in? Can you describe him? Do you know his name? How well do you know Him?

Also does our actions line up with our declared belief and the directives of the god we believe in?

For this discussion, I will only be talking bout the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. Jehovah. The God of the bible.
There are many other gods that some believe in, but according to the bible there is only one true God and that is Jehovah.

So in the bible, when it reads that we should both believe and repent, how does that now compare to our declared “belief”.
Is there different definitions and uses for the word belief when people refer to it?

If the definition is just to acknowledge the existence of a higher being, then that definition is very different than how it is conveyed in the bible.

In the bible, the commandment to believe is more that just an understanding that a god exists.
If one's belief is that it is only existence, then that belief is the same belief as devils…
