Yet, in my distress, to You, I bestow.
Drowning depths, pull me under their sway,
Yet, Your love, O Lord, lights up my way.
Hear my cry, turn night into day,
Lift me from the mire, don’t let me stray.
Mocked and scorned, for seeking Your embrace,
Broken and hurt, in this lonely space.
Yet, Your steadfast love, shines with grace,
In this storm, I seek Your saving face.
Zeal for Your house consumes, burning bright,
Though insults fall, Your love takes its flight.
Save me, O God, with Your might and light,
In Your mercy, end this endless night.
Drowning depths, pull me under their sway,

Though waters rise, and troubles multiply,
In Your salvation, my spirit will fly."
