Burma Masjid Mosque

Burmalı Mescid Mosque is a mosque located in the Vefa district of Istanbul. According to the inscription at the entrance of the mosque, it was built by Emin Nureddin Osman, the Egyptian judge of the Ottoman Empire, in 1540. It is called "Burmese" due to the grooved appearance of its minaret.
The mosque is in the Vefa district of Fatih district of Istanbul. It is in front of the courtyard wall of the Şehzade Mosque and is located within the Saraçhane Gezi Park.
