He Wasn't Just Skeptical, Or Relied With Something Sensible Like "I Hadn't Heard That, What Happened ?". Which Would Be a Natural Response. No, He Flat Out Refused to Accept The Information All Together. i Wish i Had The Whole Clip, I'd Like To See Where it Ended Up. However I Don't Even Know Who This Dude Is.
