While the Dakota apartment building in New York City is well-known for being prominently featured in Roman Polanski's 1968 motion picture occult-horror classic, ROSEMARY'S BABY; it is probably best known as the home of John Lennon and his wife Yoko from 1973 until his shocking assassination at the building's southern archway in 1980.
