Pro-Palestine activists rally at Port Botany with jet ski blockade

Port Botany in Sydney's south was swarmed by pro-Palestinian activists today.

Demonstrators took to the water on jet skis with the intention of barring the entry of an Israeli ship.

The pro-Palestinian group attempted to block the arrival of a cargo ship owned by Israeli company ZIM.

The ship itself never entered the port, redirecting upon news of the demonstration.

The rally went ahead despite calls from the government for it to be cancelled.
