Police focus on convictions as number of unsolved cases in Indianapolis continues to climb

Indianapolis Public Schools police say they found a 17-year-old Arlington High School student in possession of a loaded gun on campus Wednesday morning. According to IPS Media Relations Coordinator Carrie Cline Black, the gun was discovered before noon in the student’s locker during a routine search. The gun was loaded, but Black said no students were around at the time it was discovered.
