Imli Chutney || इमली की खट्टी-मीठी चटनी बनाने का आसान तरीका || Tamarind Chutney recipe .
Ingredients :
- Soaked Tamarind (1 cup )
- Refined oil (2 tsp )
- Red chili powder (1/2 tsp)
- White salt (1/2 tsp)
- Black salt (1/2 tsp)
- Bay leaf (1 leaf )
- Cumin seeds (1/2 tsp )
- Jaggery ( chopped 1 cup )
- Hing ( 1 pinch )
- Dried ginger powder ( 1/2 tsp )
How to prepare ( बनाने की विधि ) :
1. Mash the soaked tamarind in a bowl of water till we get a dense tamarind water, and strain the tamarind water in a cup.
2. Take a pan add 2 tsp of refined oil, add 1/2 tsp cumin seeds, add 1 bay leaf, add the tamarind water, cook it on medium flame.
3. Add 1/2 tsp red chili powder, add 1/2 tsp white salt, add 1/2 tsp black salt, add 1 pinch hing, then cook it on medium flame, with stirring it time to time.
4. Add 1 cup chopped jaggery, cook it till it's melted and keep stirring meanwhile, add 1/2 tsp dried ginger powder, and cook it on low flame till it's dense.
5. Your Imli Chutney is ready to be served.
