Director Walon Green - The film version of Peter Tompkins’ groundbreaking book on plant consciousness. Despite some of the hilarious scenarios in this film, most notably the violent attack on a cabbage plant that sends its ‘comrade’ into a fury, much of Tompkins’ research is currently being revisited by mainstream science. Stevie Wonder provides music for the film in a track which echoes Graham Hancock’s “why won’t they just believe??” Plants connected to EKG machines, being yelled at and smoked on, if you have a soft spot for flora, you may find this one upsetting.
