Islands of Brilliance is a tech-centric creative learning experience developed specifically for children and young adults with Autism. It was started by Mark and Margaret Fairbanks after their son, Harry, was diagnosed with Autism at three years old. The program pairs an individual with Autism and design professional to learn valuable software skills and create amazing work. Mark Fairbanks joins us to discuss this organization and a unique fundraiser bringing together visual and musical artists. The Colors & Chords Fundraiser for Islands of Brilliance takes place November 10 at 6pm at Turner Hall. For more information and for tickets, visit IslandsOfBrilliance.org.
