A rescue operation is underway in Pakistan for eight people, including six children trapped in a cable car over a valley in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.
Officials say the children had been making their way to school when one of the cables snapped, leaving the group dangling 900ft in the air. The incident happened at 7am local time in the remote, mountainous region.
Pakistan's caretaker PM has ordered rescuers to attend the "really alarming" incident in Battagram. An army helicopter is now at the scene, with soldiers trying to reach the group.
