ARE CHRISTIAN SCHOOLS BIBLICAL? / Pastor Bob's Coffee Break

Dear Pastor Bob: Are Christian Bible colleges biblical? Some Christians would say no. They argue that the Great Commission instructs us to make disciples, not build universities. These people often accuse universities of being stuck up and stoic. They also say that those who attend Christian universities may excel in the scholarly aspect, but fall short in the Christian experience aspect. In other words, these Christian schools are more about keeping it “business” instead of building a community of fellowship where everyone pitches in and gets along with one another. People who attend Christian schools are also said to be very closed minded to believers of other denominations and viewpoints. What thoughts might you have on this?
