The Great Lakes Water Authority's audit committee is approving a 20-million-dollar plan

The plan will now go to the full board on November 17. An agreement was announced in October between GLWA and Highland Park to modernize Highland Park's water system, use taxpayer funding for infrastructure repairs in Metro Detroit and settle 55-million-dollars in unpaid water and sewer bills.
