Petra, originally known as Raqmu to the Nabataeans, is a historical and archaeological city in southern Jordan. It is known for its rock-cut architecture and water conduit system. Since the stone from which it is carved is pink, Petra is also known as the Rose City. Interesting, right? Watch to know more about it!!
