I've always heard about how much work babies are, how rewarding being a parent is, how I won't sleep properly for years and my body will change etc, but no one told me how funny babies are. My baby farts and burps like an adult, burps directly into my face, she does huge gurgling farts in her sleep, when she's trying to latch she looks like an angry turtle and she makes the weirdest noises I've ever heard in her sleep, one noise sounds like an old man clearing his throat.
