Israel will do ‘whatever it needs' to eliminate Hamas

Author Douglas Murray says Israel will do “whatever it needs to do” to eliminate Hamas as the IDF moves into Gaza City.

Mr Murray spoke with Sky News Australia host Piers Morgan from the Israel-Gaza border where Israel is attempting to locate the missing hostages and find the Hamas leadership.

“How easy or difficult a job that is is another question but it's something that is going on as we speak,” he said.

According to the latest figures from the Hamas-run Gaza Health Ministry, more than 10,500 people have died, including at least 4,300 children and 2,800 women.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Israel would only agree to a ceasefire if Hamas released all of the 240 hostages abducted on October 7.
