* In 1934 The Soviet Union established The Jewish Autonomous Oblast to serve as a Homeland for Soviet Jews.
* In 1943 the Jewish resistance in the Warsaw Ghetto staged an armed revolt against deportation to Nazi death camps.
*To state that the Gaza Strip situation resembles the conditions in the Warsaw Ghetto is a statement of fact.
