Putin arrives in Kazakhstan for rare foreign visit

Welcomed in the airport by the president of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, Russian President Vladimir Putin called for the development of wheat and fertilizer cargo transport routes in Asia during a visit to Kazakhstan on Thursday (November 9), as Russia seeks to forge new export routes due to Western sanctions.
