Discovery Lands Safely at Kennedy

Space transport Revelation and seven space travelers finished a fourteen day excursion of more than 6.2 million miles with a Tuesday early daytime arriving at NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida. Getting back to Earth on board the orbiter were STS-131 Leader Alan Poindexter, Pilot Jim Dutton, and Mission Experts Stephanie Wilson, Rick Mastracchio, Dirt Anderson, Dottie Metcalf-Lindenburger and Naoko Yamazaki of the Japan Aviation Investigation Organization. The STS-131 mission to the Worldwide Space Station included three spacewalks, the establishment of gear outside the ISS, and the exchange of thousands of pounds of freight and supplies from the orbiter's payload sound to different areas on the station.
