US House Censures Palestinian American Lawmaker Rashida Tlaib Over Israel-Hamas War Comments | Gaza
Democrat Representative Rashida Tlaib started crying on the House Floor as the House advanced a resolution to censure her for anti-Israel comments. The progressive Michigan congresswoman Rashida Tlaib, the only Palestinian American in the US Congress, on November 7 defended her criticism of Israel’s actions in Gaza. Tlaib’s comments on the House floor came minutes after Democrats paved the way for an effort to censure her for her remarks that were deemed offensive towards Israel.
