Good evening, ladies and gentlemen and welcome to the FIRST ever, RUMBLE EXCLUSIVE episode of "Kyle Plays the Video Games!" TONIGHT: Devil May Cry 5: Special Edition, which is a Video Game about killing demons- with *STYLE*! Doing big combos, using a variety of weapons/special moves, keeping up the pressure, dodging attacks at the last second, taunting, walking around all nonchalant like a cool guy not even giving a F, 'flexing on the haters', etc are STYLISH. Spamming the same attack over and over, being too slow, taking damage, etc are NOT STYLISH. Doing STYLISH Things makes your STYLE Meter go UP. Doing NOT STYLISH Things makes your STYLE Meter go DOWN. As your STYLE Meter gets higher, your STYLE RANK goes up from D, C, B, A, S, SS, then SSS. The higher your STYLE RANK, the more POINTS you get! Obviously, POINTS are good, because Video Games. Duh.

But what's this "Legendary Dark Knight Mode" all about? Well, I'm glad you asked. They basically 'Remixed' the original missions for the Special Edition to make them more Special by adding Special 'Surprises', like changing which enemies you fight in a certain spot, or upgrading the enemies with new tricks, or, most often, having *more* enemies. Now, when I say 'more enemies', I don't mean they *added* to the number of enemies- I mean they *multiplied* the number of enemies.

For example, there's a part about halfway through this mission where you go in a hotel room. In the original mode, you have to fight *2* enemies. But now- in what can only be described as an Act of War against my PS5's GPU- there are so many enemies, they literally fill the *entire f***ing room* to the point where I can't see my character through the solid wall of enemies blocking my view. I swear to God. And this is not an uncommon occurrence.

It's kind of a whole 'thing'. Also, I haven't played this joint for several months, so I'm really out of practice, and DMC is the sort of game where if you don't consistently nail the timing of your parries/dodges down to the hundredth of a second, the Boss can, and will, teleport across the arena and pimp slap you across the planet and delete your health bar.

Which is NOT STYLISH.

So there's that.

What could possibly go wrong?

Let's find out.

TONIGHT... on "Kyle Plays the Video Games!"
