Why did a CBC article hide the identity of man charged with hate crime?

https://rebelne.ws/LivestreamSignup | During the livestream, Sheila Gunn Reid and David Menzies discussed a CBC article that omitted the fact that the victim of a hate crime was a rabbi. Furthermore, the article did not reveal the identity of the 29-year-old perpetrator.
‘A rabbi can get assaulted or have threatening phone calls made to him and nobody can even identify the man as a rabbi. That's a bridge too far, let alone identify the name of the 29 year old man who did it,’ said Sheila.
