Despite being one of the few undefeated teams left in college football, James Madison will not be playing in either the Sun Belt Championship or a big time bowl game, why’s that? Because of an outdated NCAA rule, the Dukes have to wait for postseason play and because of their success, they are the most “controversial team” in college football to the NCAA. Today though, I want to talk about the entire James Madison story from their rise as a program, their hot shot coach, their FBS success and all the details of the controversy.
