Cartoons are the new c-word. A politician has declared illustrated comic satire to be "not legitimate political criticism" while invoking the concept of "coercive control" of female politicians to explain the backlash she receives: Coercion is a one way street, says the subject matter expert: "The person who is driven to push back against their abuser is not seeking power or control in the relationship; they want the power and control to stop: They want their freedom back." --Indeed, that's all we've ever wanted.
