Israel Hits Hezbollah Targets After Rockets Fired From Lebanon | US Steps In To Keep Border Violence

A barrage of 20 rockets was fired from Lebanon towards Israel on the afternoon of November 7 as Israel marked one month since the October 7 Hamas attack. The rockets set off sirens in Israel’s Galilee region and the Golan Heights bordering Lebanon. The Israeli military said it responded with artillery fire towards the sources of the rocket fire.
The White House sent its envoy to Beirut for talks with Lebanese leaders in an effort to keep the violence along the border with Israel from escalating. Amos Hochstein met with Lebanese caretaker PM Najib Mikati, as well as Lebanese Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri and other officials.
