This ABC Special Investigation that aired on 29th June 2023, uncovers how ICAC (Independent Commission Against Corruption) finds former NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian and Daryl Maguire guilty of corruption and breaching public trust.

The former premier of New South Wales has been found by ICAC to have engaged in serious corrupt conduct. As treasurer, then premier of NSW, ICAC says Ms Berijiklian breached public trust to push projects to benefit her then boyfriend MP Daryl Maguire. The report also finds she failed to report to ICAC a suspicion of corruption involving Maguire.

Berejiklian stood down in 2021 after it was revealed she was in a ‘close personal relationship’ with Maguire, who was also found to be corrupt by ICAC’s Operation Keppel.

However because ICAC is itself also corrupt and completely compromised, it has not recommended charges be pursued against Berejiklian and she walked away a free woman into the newly created role of Managing Director, Enterprise, Business and Institutional at telecommunications giant "Optus", to continue being corrupt and breaching public trust on 28th February 2022. And this could not be more evident that just by coincidence in September 2022, just 6 months into her new role, Optus gets hacked and personal information of millions of customers is stolen in industries that Gladys' job title is responsible for.
