Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib teared up as she reiterated her calls for a ceasefire in Gaza during a debate over a resolution to censure the Palestinian-American congresswoman over her comments on Israel's bombing of Gaza.
She called for empathy for the plight of the Palestinian people.
The US House of Representatives on Tuesday voted to censure her in a measure that was passed in a 234-188 vote.
