Sonic vs. Darkness (2011) is the original version of Sol Engine V2.
"A full action/adventure packed fan game. This fan game is a mixture of Sonic Advance, Sonic Rush, and Sonic Unleashed. It is also based off the animated YouTube video Sonic Animated Movie: The Rise of Darkness. However, it starts off at the end of part two with an alternated ending. The goal of this game is to beat each level while avoiding Darkness shooting at you. There are some levels in space where you have to race Shadow in order to move on. In each level there’s a Chaos Emerald you must obtain in order to play the last level and transform into Super Sonic to finally beat Darkness." - Nefault1st
