In this video we verify the integrity of our software prior to install, using a CHECKSUM.
Issue the command:
sha256sum [your_package_name-1.26.7.deb]
This ensures that your software hash matches what is listed on the site you downloaded from. We cover command line method in this video, if you want to learn more, as well as see a GUI version, read more here:
