GOTHAM IS WATCHING - What We Did While Filming the JOKER Movie - 2019

This video goof is a manic expression of what we did in-between takes while waiting to be taken out to the set of Gotham City for the filming of the 2019 *JOKER* Movie starring Joaquin Phoenix.

What we did was create a very short film called, "Gotham is Watching", as a GOOF on a sign that was given to me, Michael James Fry, to use in the scene we were about to shoot for the *JOKER* Movie - (which, in this case, was the "outdoors-in-the-rain" scene wherein Arthur Fleck is physically kicked out of the building he was in. Some of what we filmed that night was not used in the final edit of the movie.)

There were a few hundred background actors hired for this scene, which was shot in Jersey City, New Jersey, on September 30th, 2018 ~ and thus, while hanging around in "HOLDING", a combination of unique, manic energies eventually lead to the creation of this unique video. The brief footage contained herein was thought lost for a long time but was recently - and gratefully - found . . . Enjoy!
