SWEET, FLORAL & DELICIOUS - The NEW Rocky Patel Edge 20th Anniversary - CIGAR REVIEWS by CigarScore

One of my favorite cigars over the last 20 years has been the Rocky Patel Edge Sumatra. For almost 10 years, before starting the CigarScore brand, I smoked that cigar almost exclusively. And, to celebrate my enthusiasm and dedication, Rocky decided to release the all-new Rocky Patel The Edge 20th Anniversary, and we're going to review the toro.

While there are a few different blends in the Edge line, the Rocky Patel The Edge 20th Anniversary features a beautifully smooth Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper. While the Edge 20th has a footband like the regular Edge, the primary label is the newer, much fancier label that the RP brand has moved to with their more premium cigars.

On the cold draw, the flavors were slightly chemical-esque, but also of rose petals. However, I've learned to not judge a cigar before lighting it.

The regular Edge is just over $9. The Rocky Patel The Edge 20th Anniversary is almost $14. Is it worth it? Is it that much better? Let's smoke it and find out.
