Big Big Train - Brave Captain

A wonderful tribute to one of the most under-rated 'Mad Lads' of the First World War, Albert Ball Jnr.

Born in Nottingham, England (UK) in August 1896, he sadly died in Annoeullin in France on May 7th 1917 when he was killed during action.

Such was the respect shown towards him that even The Red Baron, Manfred Von Richtofen called him 'by far, the best flying English man'.

Along with Edward Mannock, James McCudden and George McElroy, he remains as one of history's (sadly) forgotten men.

With Armistice Day in the UK this Sunday, it's time to remember Albert and the Brave Captain's of the skies, land and seas and never forget their heroic sacrifices.
